The Psychology Computing Cluster at UTSC was established using an NSERC Research Tools and Infrastructure grant and funds from the UTSC Office of the Vice-Principal Academic and Dean in 2015. Two upgrades of the cluster were made possible by a Departmental Research Fund grant in 2020 and an Urgent Needs grant in 2022, both from the UTSC Office of the Vice-Principal Research and Innovation.

The cluster is a Ubuntu and SLURM based HPC cluster for UTSC Psychology researchers and collaborators that features over 600 CPU cores, 6 GPU cards, 1.8 TB memory, and 160 TB usable computing and backup storage space. The cluster offers high flexibility and availability, and local expertise is available to support the computational research needs of cluster users.
